We are a troop for adventurous young men ages 11-17* chartered by Lackawaxen’s Central Volunteer Fire Company.
We are a place for those who are willing to live by the Scout Oath and Law, without regard to race, religion, national origin, mental/physical different-ability (disability), veteran status, marital status, or sexual orientation/identification.
Scouts BSA is one of many fine programs run by the Boy Scouts of America, including Cub Scouts, Venturing, and other great programs.
We meet on Monday, 6 – 7:30pm at Wallenpaupack North Primary School (summer meetings are typically held in Bingham Park). Our partner troop for girls, Troop 2619, also meets at this same place and time, though in separate rooms. Each troop functions separately, but we do come together at times for common events, such as special events, large community service projects, CPR classes, etc.

Information about other Scouts BSA Troops is available at https://beascout.scouting.org/.
Any adults interested in leadership positions with the Troop must complete a series of State and BSA background checks, as well BSA Youth Protection Training and additional trainings for their specific position.
* Youth whom have completed 5th grade or have earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light Award may also join Scouts BSA, regardless of their age. Scouts with special needs can also stay in the Scouts BSA program after they turn 18 with proper documentation.
